To my surprise there was a wire fish line already run and coiled up behind where i cut my hole. So i measured it out and cut the console hole pretty easily. Luckily their was already a hole cut in the T-top box. I decided to cut a hole into the other side of the console (port side) and run it there. So rather than risk running 2m drop line, coming up short and not being able to get it out of the tube. But after I attempted to run the wire in the same tubing, I found that it would be very difficult and may not reach (or be really close) the radio. My first thought was to purchase the Ancor duel device starter kit ( ) and run the drop wire from the console to the t-top box in the opening that my existing radio power wires and NMEA 0183 wires are run.
